By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Rigid supports creators, entrepreneurs, and communities across diverse categories including education, gaming, digital tools, and membership services. While some creators may offer adult content in properly gated environments, the platform serves a broad range of professional and creative use cases. All users must conduct themselves responsibly and professionally.

1. Public Profile Compliance

All users must maintain appropriate and professional public profiles while using the Rigid platform. Public profile content—including usernames, profile pictures, bios, social links, and embedded media—must comply with our community standards and content policies. The following requirements apply:

  • Publicly visible content must not include or reference sexually explicit, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate material, particularly content accessible to minors.
  • Adult or NSFW content is only permitted when properly labeled as "Explicit 18+" and restricted to private or age-gated areas. Explicit content is prohibited in profile pictures, bios, public embeds, or any publicly accessible areas.
  • Users under 18 are strictly prohibited from creating, uploading, sharing, or promoting adult content in any form.
  • Misleading profiles, impersonation accounts, or profiles promoting scams, hate speech, harassment, or illegal activities are subject to immediate removal.
  • Users may report inappropriate profiles through our reporting system at /report/{username}. Rigid reviews all reports and enforces appropriate penalties based on violation severity and user history.

Rigid reserves the right to review, restrict, or permanently remove any account violating this policy. Severe violations may result in immediate termination without prior warning. Multiple violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal at our sole discretion.

Prohibited Activities
  • Posting, promoting, or selling illegal content, services, or goods.
  • Engaging in deceptive practices, fraud, scams, or pyramid schemes.
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights, including unauthorized use of copyrighted material.
  • Selling or promoting counterfeit goods, unlicensed gambling operations, or controlled substances.
  • Impersonating individuals, organizations, or misrepresenting your identity or credentials.
  • Manipulating platform features, circumventing security measures, or exploiting system vulnerabilities.
  • Engaging in harassment, hate speech, doxxing, or targeted abuse against any user or group.
  • Spamming, creating fake accounts, or artificially inflating engagement metrics.
Enforcement Actions

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, or permanent termination. The severity of enforcement action depends on the nature and frequency of violations, potential harm caused, and the user's compliance history. In cases involving illegal activity, fraud, or significant harm, we may report matters to law enforcement or pursue legal remedies.

2. Anti-Spam Policy

Spam of any kind is not allowed on Rigid. Users must not use the platform to send mass or unsolicited messages, create fake accounts, or engage in automated activity that disrupts normal usage. All user outreach and promotional activity must follow community standards and respect other users' boundaries.

  • Do not send unsolicited or repetitive promotional messages to other users or outside platforms.
  • Do not use bots or automation tools to interact with profiles, listings, or any other part of the platform.
  • Do not create multiple accounts for the purpose of self-promotion or artificial engagement.
  • Do not attempt to repost identical content across listings or profiles to increase exposure.
  • Do not request or extract large volumes of user emails or contact details from Rigid without a clear and limited purpose.

Users who need to collect emails through Rigid features must do so in moderation and only for legitimate business or communication purposes. Excessive or abusive use of email requests may result in feature restrictions or account suspension.

Accounts that violate this policy may be suspended or permanently banned without warning. In cases of serious abuse, we may block related payment accounts or report the activity to our partners or service providers.

3. Business Compliance & Integrity

All sellers on Rigid are expected to conduct business with honesty, transparency, and professionalism. Rigid is not responsible for the content or delivery of individual products, but we require that sellers follow all applicable laws and platform policies when operating on the platform.

  • Do not mislead customers through false advertising, exaggerated claims, or hidden terms.
  • Do not sell products or services that you cannot deliver or do not have the rights to distribute.
  • Clearly communicate what your product includes, how it works, and any requirements or limitations.
  • Be responsive and respectful when handling customer questions, disputes, or refund requests.
  • Do not engage in scams, fraudulent chargebacks, fake reviews, or unauthorized reselling.

Sellers who are found to be engaging in deceptive, unethical, or illegal practices may be permanently removed from the platform. Rigid reserves the right to freeze payouts, restrict account access, or escalate cases to payment providers or legal authorities if needed.

4. File Security & Safety

All digital files, downloads, and media offered through Rigid must be safe, secure, and free from viruses, malware, spyware, or any other harmful software. Sellers are fully responsible for ensuring their digital content does not compromise buyer security, privacy, or device integrity.

File Content Requirements
  • All files must be scanned for malicious content before upload and distribution.
  • Files must contain only the content described in the product listing—no hidden or undisclosed software.
  • Executable files (.exe, .app, .dmg, etc.) require clear disclosure and must serve legitimate purposes only.
  • Scripts, macros, or code files must be clearly documented with their intended function and permissions required.
  • Files must not contain backdoors, keyloggers, cryptocurrency miners, or unauthorized data collection tools.
Prohibited File Types & Content
  • Malicious software, viruses, trojans, ransomware, or any code designed to harm or exploit systems.
  • Hacking tools, password crackers, or software designed to bypass security measures.
  • Pirated software, cracked applications, or files that violate intellectual property rights.
  • Files containing personal data, credentials, or private information of third parties.
  • Content that violates platform policies when accessed or executed.
Seller Responsibilities

Sellers must maintain current antivirus protection, regularly scan their files, and promptly address any security concerns raised by buyers or the platform. False representation of file contents or security status constitutes a material breach of these terms.

Enforcement & Remedies

Distribution of malicious files will result in immediate account termination and removal of all associated content. Rigid reserves the right to scan, quarantine, or remove any files deemed unsafe, issue refunds to affected buyers, and report serious security violations to appropriate authorities. Sellers may be held liable for damages caused by unsafe files distributed through the platform.

5. Platform Security & System Integrity

Rigid maintains robust security measures to protect our platform, users, and data. Any unauthorized attempts to access, interfere with, compromise, or disrupt our systems, services, databases, or user accounts are strictly prohibited and may constitute criminal activity under applicable laws.

Prohibited Security Activities
  • Unauthorized access attempts, including hacking, cracking, or exploiting system vulnerabilities.
  • Phishing, social engineering, or any deceptive practices to obtain user credentials or sensitive information.
  • Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or any attempts to overload or disrupt platform services.
  • Injection attacks, cross-site scripting, or other code-based exploitation attempts.
  • Unauthorized data scraping, crawling, or automated extraction of platform content or user information.
  • Account takeover attempts, credential stuffing, or brute force attacks against user accounts.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to discover proprietary algorithms or trade secrets.
  • Circumventing security measures, authentication systems, or access controls.
  • Creating or distributing tools specifically designed to exploit platform vulnerabilities.
Responsible Security Research

Security researchers who discover potential vulnerabilities are encouraged to report them through our responsible disclosure program at security@rigid.bio. Good faith security research conducted in accordance with our vulnerability disclosure policy will not be subject to enforcement action, provided researchers do not access user data, disrupt services, or publicly disclose vulnerabilities before we've had reasonable time to address them.

User Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts, including using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication when available, and promptly reporting any suspected unauthorized access. Sharing account credentials or allowing unauthorized access to your account may result in account suspension and void any platform protections or guarantees.

Enforcement & Legal Action

Security violations will result in immediate account termination and permanent platform ban. We actively monitor for suspicious activities and maintain detailed logs for investigation purposes. Serious security violations will be reported to law enforcement agencies, including the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center, and we will cooperate fully with criminal investigations. Violators may face civil liability for damages and be subject to prosecution under federal and state computer crime laws, including the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.

6. Hate Speech & Violence Policy

Rigid is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for all users. We strictly prohibit hate speech, discrimination, harassment, and content that promotes, incites, or glorifies violence against individuals or groups. This policy applies to all platform content, including profiles, posts, comments, messages, digital products, and any other user-generated material.

Prohibited Content & Conduct
  • Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics.
  • Content promoting, inciting, or glorifying violence, terrorism, or harm against any person or group.
  • Discriminatory language, slurs, or derogatory content intended to demean or dehumanize others.
  • Harassment, stalking, doxxing, or targeted abuse campaigns against individuals or communities.
  • Content promoting or recruiting for hate groups, extremist organizations, or terrorist activities.
  • Threats of violence, intimidation, or content designed to cause fear or emotional distress.
  • Holocaust denial, genocide denial, or content that minimizes documented atrocities.
  • Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or dangerous activities targeting vulnerable individuals.
Context & Educational Exceptions

Limited exceptions may apply for legitimate educational, historical, artistic, or journalistic content that addresses these topics in a responsible manner without promoting harmful ideologies. Such content must include appropriate context, disclaimers, and must not glorify or encourage prohibited conduct. Documentary, academic, or news content discussing these issues may be permitted when clearly serving educational or informational purposes.

Reporting & Community Safety

Users can report violations through our reporting system or by contacting safety@rigid.bio. We investigate all reports promptly and may take immediate action to protect user safety. Our moderation team is trained to recognize context, cultural nuances, and distinguish between legitimate discourse and harmful content. We also work with external experts and organizations to continuously improve our policies and enforcement practices.

Enforcement Actions

Violations result in immediate content removal and may lead to warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent account termination depending on severity and intent. Severe violations involving credible threats, incitement to violence, or coordinated harassment campaigns will result in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement agencies. Users who repeatedly engage in borderline behavior or attempt to circumvent these policies may face escalating restrictions or removal from the platform.

7. Adult Content Guidelines

Rigid permits adult content for users 18 years and older within a carefully regulated framework designed to protect minors, ensure legal compliance, and maintain platform integrity. All adult content must be properly categorized, age-gated, and comply with applicable laws in all jurisdictions where the content may be accessed.

Content Classification & Labeling
  • All adult content must be clearly labeled with "Explicit 18+" warnings and appropriate content descriptors before access.
  • Creators must accurately categorize content using platform-provided tags and rating systems.
  • Preview images, thumbnails, and descriptions must not contain explicit material—use tasteful, non-graphic representations only.
  • Content involving nudity, sexual activity, or adult themes must be behind appropriate age verification barriers.
  • Fetish, BDSM, and specialized adult content must include specific content warnings and safety information.
Age Verification & Access Controls

Access to adult content requires verified age confirmation through government-issued identification or credit card verification. Creators selling adult content must also complete enhanced identity verification. Adult content pages are excluded from search engines and are not accessible through direct links without proper authentication. Users must actively opt-in to view adult content categories.

Public Profile Restrictions
  • Profile pictures, banners, and public bios must not contain sexually explicit imagery or content.
  • Public posts, comments, and messages visible to unverified users must remain appropriate for all audiences.
  • Adult content creators may indicate their content category but cannot display explicit material publicly.
  • Usernames and profile information must not contain explicit sexual references or inappropriate language.
Prohibited Adult Content
  • Any content involving or appearing to involve individuals under 18 years of age.
  • Non-consensual content, including revenge porn, hidden camera recordings, or leaked private material.
  • Content depicting or promoting illegal sexual activities, violence, or exploitation.
  • Bestiality, necrophilia, or other content depicting illegal or harmful acts.
  • Content that sexualizes violence, promotes harmful sexual practices, or glorifies sexual assault.
  • Deepfake or AI-generated sexual content using real individuals' likenesses without consent.
Creator Responsibilities & Legal Compliance

Adult content creators must maintain proper documentation proving all performers are 18+ (2257 compliance where applicable), obtain necessary model releases and consent forms, and ensure content complies with laws in their jurisdiction and where content may be accessed. Creators are responsible for tax obligations, age verification of collaborators, and maintaining appropriate business licenses. Misrepresentation of performer ages or consent status will result in immediate termination and legal reporting.

Platform Protections & Enforcement

Rigid employs automated and human moderation to detect policy violations. We maintain zero tolerance for illegal content and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, payment holds, or permanent termination. Appeals must be submitted with appropriate documentation. We reserve the right to restrict adult content features, modify policies, or discontinue adult content support at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Account Termination & Suspension

Rigid reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate user accounts for violations of these Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or applicable laws. We may also terminate accounts for prolonged inactivity, failure to complete required verification processes, or when necessary to protect the platform, other users, or legal interests.

Types of Account Actions
  • Warning: Notice of policy violation with opportunity to correct behavior and avoid further penalties.
  • Content Removal: Deletion of specific posts, files, or materials that violate platform policies.
  • Feature Restrictions: Temporary or permanent limitation of specific platform features (messaging, uploads, etc.).
  • Temporary Suspension: Account access suspended for a specified period, typically 7-30 days.
  • Permanent Termination: Complete and irreversible account closure with content removal.
  • Payment Holds: Suspension of earnings withdrawals pending investigation or resolution of issues.
Grounds for Immediate Termination

Certain severe violations may result in immediate permanent termination without prior warning, including but not limited to: illegal content distribution, security breaches, fraud or financial crimes, harassment or threats of violence, distribution of malware, impersonation for malicious purposes, or repeated violations after previous enforcement actions.

Data & Content Handling
  • Upon termination, user access to the account and all associated data is immediately revoked.
  • User-generated content may be preserved for legal, safety, or operational purposes as permitted by law.
  • Personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations.
  • Users may request data export prior to voluntary account closure, subject to technical limitations.
  • Terminated users forfeit access to purchased content and any pending earnings or credits.
Financial Implications

Account termination may result in forfeiture of pending payments, account credits, or subscription benefits. Refunds for premium services or purchases are handled on a case-by-case basis according to our refund policy. Users terminated for fraudulent activity or terms violations are not eligible for refunds and may be liable for chargebacks, fees, or damages incurred.

Appeals Process

Users may appeal suspension or termination decisions by contacting appeals@rigid.bio within 30 days with relevant documentation and explanation. Appeals are reviewed by a different team member than the original decision maker. We do not guarantee appeal approval, and some violations (particularly those involving illegal content or safety concerns) may not be eligible for appeal. Repeated frivolous appeals may result in communication restrictions.

Account Recreation & Circumvention

Users whose accounts have been permanently terminated are prohibited from creating new accounts or accessing the platform through alternative means. Attempts to circumvent termination through new accounts, shared accounts, or technical measures may result in additional legal action. We employ various methods to detect and prevent ban evasion, including device fingerprinting and behavioral analysis.

Rigid does not store or have direct access to your full payment information on our servers.

Creator earnings are distributed through Stripe's payout system to verified bank accounts or debit cards. Payout schedules depend on your location and Stripe's policies. We generate tax documentation (such as 1099 forms for US creators) based on transaction data from Stripe. Creators are responsible for providing accurate tax information and complying with applicable tax obligations in their jurisdiction.

International Transactions and Currency

International transactions are processed through Stripe's global payment network with automatic currency conversion when necessary. Exchange rates and international transaction fees are determined by Stripe and your financial institution. Some regions may have restrictions on certain types of transactions or payment methods due to local regulations.

Payment Data Retention and Deletion

We retain transaction records as required by law and for business purposes, typically for seven years or as mandated by financial regulations. Personal payment data stored by Stripe is subject to their retention policies. Upon account deletion, we will work with Stripe to ensure proper handling of any remaining payment data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
